Swami Abhishek Chaitanya is ordained and holds the title of the Chief Monk Guarding the Vedanta Lineage in India (a system of Indian philosophy), which makes him an authority to teach Yoga and Vedanta philosophy. He is the one of twenty-four who hold this position, and is the head of Jagad Guru Sanyasa Ashram in Rishikesh, India.

 

Swamiji has dedicated his life to the studies exponent of Advaita philosophy (non dualistic philosophy) whereby he spent 23 years studying with different masters. He received traditional tutelage under renowned teachers of Vedanta Swami Chinmayananda, Swami Anubhavananda, Swami Vishwatmananda, Swami Akhandananda, Swami Ramananda. He is a great teacher and motivational speaker who enthralls audiences around the world with his unique style of discourses.

 

He travels all over the world sharing the knowledge with a different viewpoint of Yoga Sutras of Patanjali which is very helpful to Sadhakas (spiritual aspirants) and the Yoga practitioners. He teaches in such manner blending the Adishankaracharya Vedanta and Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. He is like a lotus who attracts the bees towards the nectar, similarly as for those the knowledge towards his heart imparts.

 

Maha Mandaleshwara Swami Abhishek Chaitanya Giri Maharaj is an inspiring example of the subtle Triveni – the merging of the 3 paths of Karma, Bhakti and Jnana. He sees only the positive in each one’s personal inclinations, he urges every individual toward the final goal. His own establishment in his faith in Adi Shankaracharya and his teachings is firm and steady making him the perfect guide to the ultimate goal that is freedom from all limitations, otherwise called Moksha.
